Walden (little natures) *

Live sounds from the Klankenbos, Pelt and the European Quarter, Brussels for Walden festival.
A series of field transmitters (streamboxes) made in workshops before and during the Walden festival, convey live sounds from the European Quarter and further afield.
In this way we are interested to listen to micro ecologies of managed places, between rural and urban environments, where a variety of human and non human organisms and agencies inhabit. By developing diy transmission systems, across locations, we imagine an 'ecological radio' that extends listening to less heard sites and situations.
The link above allows those who are not able to be at Walden to listen remotely and join the Internet Relay Chat.
Live streams in collaboration with Locus Sonus, ESAAIX, Aix-Marseille, available directly during and beyond the festival on the soundmap and/or server list.
Main mix in partership with Wave Farm at Acra in the Upper Hudson Valley, NY.
