5 листопада я транслюватиму звук з фестивалю, який організовую спільно з друзями та творчою спільнотою. Фестиваль DIY-культури «Чверть» відбудеться у Львові, і це буде перша подія, яку ми організовуємо від початку повномасштабного російського вторгнення.

На нашу діяльність дуже вплинуло те, що багатьом довелося змінити своє місцезнаходження. Більшість налагоджених зв'язків, що формувалися у фізичних просторах, — зруйновано. Але ці зруйновані зв'язки стають підґрунтям для методів DIY.

Цей стрім — про кожного артиста_ку та учасника_цю, про їхній досвід роботи після повномасштабного вторгнення. Багато хто з нашої спільноти змінив свій рід діяльності: більшість волонтерять, інші намагаються ретранслювати свій досвід війни й тим самим допомогти собі та іншим пережити його.

Ми залучаємо до фестивалю людей, які, як і я, переїхали у Львів, а також учасників, що залишились у рідних містах. Нам було важливо організувати подію, щоб дізнатися більше одне про одного та підтримати в нових умовах. А також пройти крізь новий етап у нашій взаємодії, а в деяких випадках — заново налагодити зв'язки. Наша робота важлива і цінна, і я хочу про це пам'ятати.

Воркшоп зі стрімінгу звуків надихає мене досі. Мені важливо було чути думки інших учасників, бачити, що у багатьох схожий досвід з моїм. Я хочу поділитися новими знаннями з іншими музикантами та музикантками з України, показати роботу стрімбоксу. Я також планую використати записані під час воркшопу звуки у виступі з власним музичним лайвом.

On November 5th, I’ll be streaming audio from a festival that I’m organizing with friends and the creative community. The DIY culture festival Chvert (‘Quarter’) will take place in Lviv and it will be the first event we have organized since the beginning of the full-scale Russian invasion.

Our activities were greatly affected by the fact that many of us were forced to relocate. Most of the established connections that had been formed in physical spaces have been destroyed. But these broken connections have become the basis for new, DIY methods.

This stream is about each of the artists and participants, and their experience of making work after the full-scale invasion. Many within our community have changed their activities: most are volunteering, while others are trying to relay their war experience and thereby help themselves and others to survive it.

We invite people who, like me, moved to Lviv as well as participants who stayed in their hometowns to contribute to the festival. It was important for us to organize an event that will allow us to learn more about each other and support each other within these new conditions. Also, helping us to reach a new stage within our interactions, and in some cases to re-establish ties. Our work is important and valuable, and I want to remember that.

The sound streaming workshop still inspires me. It was important for me to hear the opinions of other participants and to see that many have similar experiences to mine. I want to share this new knowledge with other musicians from Ukraine and to share the possibilities of the streambox. I also plan to use the sounds recorded during the workshop in a performance in combination with my own live music.

Зараз я працюю над чотирма своїми головними проєктами.
Основний з них – спільна студія вимушених переселенців “ОСРЗ-4”,
другий — перформативна перукарня “райський рай”,
третій — треш-ательє circulation of infernation,
а також мій новий музичний проект — vixiii.

До широкомасштабного вторгнення я жила в Одесі. Останні два роки я була резиденткою Одеської спільноти художників ОСРЗ-2 на колишньому судноремонтному заводі. Зараз ми живемо на заході України, у Львові, і разом з іншими художниками ОСРЗ-2 підтримуємо артистів-переселенців. Самостійно навчалася перукарському мистецтву та шиттю одягу.

В основі майже всіх моїх робіт лежить краса змін, метаморфоз. Середовище відіграє важливу роль у моїй роботі. Реальність оточення стала для мене тим, що я намагаюся осягнути.

Now I’m working on four of my main projects.
the main one is a collaborative studio for the forced displaced artists “OSRZ-4”
the second is a performative hair salon - raiskii raiiii (paradice heaven)
the third is trash atelier - circulation of infernation
and my new music project - vixiii

Before the russian invasion, I lived in Odesa. During the last 2 years I was one of the residents of the Odesa community of artists OSRZ-2 on the former shipyard. We currently live in the west of Ukraine, in Lviv, and we support displaced artists along with other residents of OSRZ-2. I studied hairdressing and clothing processing by myself.

The basis of almost all my works is the beauty of change, metamorphosis. The environment plays an important role in my work. The reality of surroundings has become for me what I am trying to grasp. I think that people tend not to notice it and thus treat it badly.
